At Time of Registration

Parents must meet with the Director or Assistant Director to:

  • Tour the facility
  • Answer any questions 
  • Review our philosophy
  • Complete the application process
  • Discuss the childs needs, habits, behavior and development
  • Discuss the DYFS
  • Discuss
a) Policies on medication
b) Criteria for sick child exclusion
c) Communicable Diseases
d) Discipline

Child Care Program

This program Includes and is limited to care for children enrolled in the program on a full or part-time basis during the days and hours of operation. Dawn -To -Dusk operates 12 months a year.


Ages Served

Our classroom size, teacher - student ratio and fee schedule are based on the following:


THREES

36 months (by 10/1 to qualify for the Abbott Program)

FOURS

48 months (by 10/1 to qualify for the Abbott Program)


Special consideration is taken for children with developmental concerns.

Days and hours of operation

The center operates Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., excluding major holidays.

Daily schedule
Recognizing the needs for programming that reflects the ages and stages of the children, a daily schedule is posted in each classroom.

Parental Involvement
We have an open door policiy. Parents of our enrolled children are permitted to visit the center at any time.

1) Parents are required to read the center's Parent Handbook, in addition to being responsible for keeping up to date on any posted notices regarding center activities.

 

2) Parents are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents for special events.

 
3) Parents are encouraged to participate invarious committees and voluntarily involve themselves in center fundraisers.


These activities are necessary to ensure parental input regarding administrative decisions and offset operational costs.
